What it does
Once a way of working is agreed, it's versioned. You can hand day-to-day upkeep to someone you trust, lock it so it can't be changed, retire it, or roll back — with a record of who did what.

Owner access.
What it won't do
A locked standard can't be edited by a nominated keeper — only released by the owner.
